I like old TV shows.

Old, and I will admit, somewhat strange. Turn on the Alfred Hitchcock Hour, the Outer Limits, or my personal favorite, the Twilight Zone, and I won’t talk to you until the show is over. One network has a Twilight Zone marathon over New Years—and what I don’t stay up to see I record, even though I haveINVENTORY2 seen most of those shows over and over. They just don’t make TV shows like that anymore.

Now, we have talked about the benefits of the Roadtrek Class B motor home, the best selling such vehicle in North America for twenty years. Regardless of whether your trip is near or far, you never have to leave home without all the comforts you are used to. Your own shower, kitchen, bedroom, and most importantly, entertainment area! Imagine after a long day on the road, and exhausting time of travel and sightseeing, how about a little rest and relaxation with a Twilight Zone or Alfred Hitchcock DVD? You can enjoy it from the twin beds in the back, or the captains’ seats up front. That’s living, folks, and living large at that!

There are so many positives to a Roadtrek. It’s easy to handle on the open road or in heavy traffic. Parking is a breeze because of the Roadtrek’s smaller size. It gets much better gas mileage than a full sized SUV. Make your own meals, no more hotels and loading and unloading the van. No more restroom breaks needed in the middle of nowhere—a Roadtrek makes traveling a pleasure across town or across the country. Wherever you want to go, the Roadtrek is more than capable of taking you there.

And to top it all off, to make it a perfect experience, there are the Alfred Hitchcock and Twilight Zone DVDs. Be careful though, you might have to sleep with the lights on!

Rain.

How many family vacations have been ruined by that one little word? Rain.INVENTORY2

Summer is the time of family reunions, trips to the beach, the neighborhood barbecue, meeting family and friends at the big game, cross country jaunts with the kids. All those activities have one big thing in common—they suck in the rain.

Country singer Luke Bryan had a recent hit single titled “Rain is a Good Thing.” It’s true, to a point. Crops don’t grown without rain, but too much rain at this time of the year keeps farmers from even getting into the fields to plant. Rain that is much needed in July is despised in May—and dry weather that we crave now can be a disaster later in the growing season.

The point of all this rambling (yes, there is a point) is that your family vacation, regardless of its destination, can be rain-proofed with a Roadtrek Class B Motorhomes from Dave Arbogast in Troy, Ohio. Look, the kids get bored on sunny days, much less rainy days when your activities are limited. With a Roadtrek, you can set them up with a video game or movie, and not even know they are in the van for hours at a time.

With the spacious sleeping accommodations, the Roadtrek certainly pays off for mom and dad too. After a long day behind the wheel, Dad can relax watching his favorite movie or listening to music, and mealtime and cleanup is a no hassle event in the traveler friendly galley. Throw in good fuel efficiency, extremely important in this day of high gas prices, easy handling on the open road and heavy traffic, and the ability to fit in most car sized parking spaces, and it’s little wonder that the Roadtrek has been the top selling class b motor home in North America since 1990.

Now for the easy part. If there is a Roadtrek in your future, begin and end your search at Dave Arbogast in Troy, Ohio. The largest new and used van dealer in the country, Arbogast has a tremendous selection of new and used Class B camper vans, and a professional knowledgeable sales staff that will help you every step of the way. After your purchase is complete, Arbogast can see to it that your vehicle is delivered right to your doorway, anywhere in the United States.

Don’t take my word for it. Check it out for yourself. Call 1-866-975-3287 and find out how easy owning a Roadtrek can be!

The last week of May has always been a “Wow” week in sports.

Of course, you have the greatest spectacle in racing, the Indianapolis 500, at the end of the month, and 2 of the 3 legs of horse racing’s Triple Crown are also held in May. But there have been noteworthy accomplishments on the field during this week as well.

In 1935, The Reds and Phillies played the first night game in Major League history at Crosley Field. The very next day, Babe Ruth hit the final three homers of his career in Pittsburgh while playing for the Boston Braves. In 1959, Harvey Haddix pitched 12 perfect innings against the Milwaukee Braves before losing in the 13th. Truly “Wow” moments!

Have you ever stepped into an Airstream Avenue Class b motorhome? When you do, there is only one reaction—WOW!  The Avenue has the ability to seat 7, making it the perfect vehicle for those looking for a comfortable and convenient way to travel. The Avenue is agile, featuring the Chevrolet 3500 Series Express chassis and the L96 V8 engine and 6L90 transmission. Add an 8,000 pound towing capacity, and side impact airbags, and you have style, versatility and safety—an unbeatable combination.

The Avenue is a great vehicle for those weekend getaways, but it can handle the long hauls too. It comers fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and lounge area that easily converts into a sleeping area for two. Comfort is a must, and there is plenty of it, thanks to a 13,500 BTU air conditioning unit for those hot summer days, and a 16,000 BTU furnace for those bone chilling winters.

You simply can’t beat the Ultraleather seating, stainless steel appliances, and swiveling front captain seats that allow a family to enjoy a meal together. Traveling will hardly feel like traveling in an Airstream Avenue.

Get started on  your “WOW” moment today. Check out the Airstream Avenue at Dave Arbogast in Troy, Ohio. View their entire inventory online, and then call 1-866-975-3287. The summer is just ahead—spend yours in an Avenue!

INVENTORY2I know several people who like to travel the country during the summer attending country music shows. There are several that are 3 to 4 days long, and bring in 12-15 different acts for a weekend of music. Many are held around campgrounds, where the music lovers can party all day, and then camp overnight.

All of that is good, if you are into that. What I don’t understand is that these people prefer sleeping in tents, on the ground at these events. That I don’t get.

These events would be a lot more enjoyable, if you ask me, in a Class B Motorhome. You could travel to the event, park, enjoy the day’s festivities, then overnight in the Roadtrek. It makes a lot more sense than sleeping on the ground for four nights.

After the day’s concert, my friends could relax in the rear lounge area. They could get rid of the dirt and grime in the spacious shower, then kick back and watch a DVD or listen to some more music. They wouldn’t have to spend a fortune on food and drink, as long as they kept the refrigerator well stocked. It just makes a lot more sense to me.

The great thing about a Roadtrek is its useful at home too. Many owners use their Roadtreks as a second vehicle, to run errands and cart the kids from place to place. It handles well, parks easily, and is one of the most fuel efficient vehicles on the road.

You still have time to get your class b camper for the summer concert season. Check out the great inventory, then Call Dave Arbogast at 1-866-975-3287 and talk to one of their van specialists. One trip in a Roadtrek and you will never want to sleep on the ground again!

I am about to make a huge confession. Yes, it’s time for me to come out of the closet. I never miss an episode of “Dancing with The Stars”.

I know a lot of guys who actually watch the show, and why not? The women are attractive, the music is great, and there is always the chance of someone making a fool of themselves. I didn’t think I would ever get hooked, but I am—and Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith even won the competition a few seasons back. And hey, it IS a competition. Men like watching competition, right?

Now that that’s out of the way, and what a relief, by the way, lets talk about something that really matters, It’s almost vacation time, and when planning the annual summer trip, you need to plan on traveling in a Roadtrek Class B Motorhomes.

The best selling class b Motor home in North America for the past 20 years. Roadtrek can take you anywhere you want to go, and take you there in comfort and style. The family vacation takes on a whole new outlook when you don’t have to stop to eat, stop for endless restroom breaks, or lug everything out of the vehicle at the end of the day and into the hotel.

Sure, gas prices are high, but the Roadtrek is very fuel efficient, and when you figure the money you will save on eats and accommodations, the vacation you once thought would not happen is back on the calendar.

Here’s a great thing about the Roadtrek—you don’t have to be on a two week trip to enjoy it. Many use their Roadtrek as a second family vehicle—to take the kids to school, go to the store or laundry, even to take the spouse on a long overdue dinner date. The Roadtrek can do it all, and you are never without the comforts of home, regardless of how far you travel.

I also have no hesitation with this suggestion—The ONLY place to even look for a Roadtrek is Dave Arbogast in Troy, Ohio. They have a tremendous selection that can be viewed online, and once you have found the perfect Roadtrek for you, a call to 1-866-975-3287 will get the buying process underway. Roadtreks are the top selling Class B motorhomes in North America, and have been for more than 20 years. Many satisfied owners know the comforts of home wherever they travel, whether it’s across the country or just across town.INVENTORY2

Many Roadtrek users also know that their vehicles are perfect for work. First, the Roadtrek makes a great impression in appearance alone. Second, Roadtreks provide spacious and comfortable places to work or meet with clients. And if you are on the road a lot for work, there is no better vehicle to have than a Roadtrek.

Working away from home can really be a pain. Not only are you gone from your family for extended periods of time, you are constantly in and out of hotels, and always eating in strange places. It’s just not a lot of fun. A Roadtrek, however, provides you with some of the comforts of home. You don’t always have to pack and unpack, and can sleep in the same bed every night. It doesn’t compare to being home with your family, but it makes being on the road a lot more enjoyable.

Everyone is concerned about high gas prices, but Roadtreks are among the most fuel efficient vehicles on the road. They are fun to drive, too. Roadtreks handle easily thru heavy traffic, and parking is a breeze. With the Roadtreks smaller size, you no longer have to do extensive searches for parking space. Just pull into the first regular sized spot you find—the Roadtrek is a perfect fit.

What this vehicle really does is cut down the stress of business travel. You can concentrate on the job at hand, knowing that the Roadtrek will get you to your destination and back again safely and comfortably. Roadtrek and Dave Arbogast—the perfect team to make your workday easier!

One of these days, I’m settling down.INVENTORY2

For a lot of people that means family, kids, all that stuff. For me, it means no more work and the freedom to do what I please. Which, I will admit, I will probably do in solitude!

I think a trip across the country would be great…taken at my own pace, arriving when I want to arrive and returning when I feel like it. There is only one vehicle to take such a trip—the Roadtrek 190 Popular.

You know Roadtrek, the number one selling class b motorhome in North America for over 20 years. The motor home that has an 85% approval rating from its owners, 85% who say they would definitely buy another Roadtrek. That figure alone made me sit up and take notice.

The 190-Popular is based on the Chevrolet Express 3500 extended van. I’m not joking when I say that it can take you anywhere. There is never a need to look for several empty parking spaces together, because the Roadtrek will slide right into any car sized spot.

The Roadtrek can seat 2 to 5 and sleep 2 or 3, so I would have plenty of room for myself. The rear dinette converts to a king size bed or two comfortable twin beds with a night table between. There is also a full length wardrobe, front dining table, and a well equipped galley (guess I will have to learn how to cook!)

The available premium flat screen TV provides plenty of entertainment after that day of sightseeing. Watch it from bed or swing it into the aisle to watch from the comfort of the front captains seats.

Stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter with a 12,000 BTU air conditioner and heat pump. The bathroom can be enclosed with a bifold door that also creates a changing area. Get 4 to 6 showers from the fresh water tank if you conserve water, and enjoy fewer stops at the pump as the 190-Popular gets between 16 and 18 miles per gallon.

As you can see, the Roadtrek 190-Popular is a great vehicle, whether you want to travel alone or with family and friends. See a great selection today at Dave Arbogast in Troy, Ohio. Find the one you want, and then call one of their van experts at 1-866-975-3287. Don’t let the travel season slip away—do it today!

I am a bit of a history buff. I like to see what went on today in history, and there seems to be a lot of rejection and refusal in the later part of April.

There was mutiny on the HMS Bounty in 1789—that’s rejection of authority. DeGaulle resigned as the French leader in 1969—the rejection of a people. Muhammad Ali refused induction into the Army in 1967—that was rejection of a lot of things. Former Italian strongman Benito Mussolini was executed in 1945—the ultimate rejection.

But these are happier times, although not without troubles of our own. Many are finding a way to beat their problems by traveling—and many are choosing Roadtreks as their vehicle of choice.

There is absolutely nothing to reject about a Roadtrek class b motorhome. It’s been the best selling class b motor home in North America for two decades, and 85% of Roadtrek owners say they would buy another one. When was the last time you heard anyone with an approval rating that high?

Roadtreks are fun and easy to drive, one of the best handling Class Bs on the road. They get far better gas mileage than a full size SUV or Recreational vehicle, and because of their size, parking is a breeze. They can take you across the country or across town with comfort, style, and practicality—not many vehicles can say that.

Once inside, it’s like you never left home. You’ll enjoy the comforts of your own bathroom, kitchen, entertainment center, and bedroom—and those work whether the trip is 10 or a thousand miles. You will find that the tedious trips of everyday life are more enjoyable in a Roadtrek, and you will really look forward to those cross country journeys.

Ok, you are sold on the Roadtrek. Now what? That’s the easy part.  Check out Dave Arbogast’s full RV inventory in Ohio . I promise there will be no rejection. After you find your vehicle, pick up the phone and call 1-866-975-3287. One of their van experts will take great care of you, and you will soon be on the road, leaving your problems behind.
