There are a lot of things that annoy me. I admit that. People standing at the check-out counter scratching off their lottery tickets while you wait in line—people who take three prime parking spaces at the restaurant so no one scratches their vehicle—actually, people in general. It seems that many of us have forgotten that the rest of us exist. There is no such thing as courtesy anymore.

By far the most frustrating thing for me is people and their cell phones. I have one—I’m never without it. It’s not the fact that people have cell phones, but the way they use them. I never make or take a call when I’m driving—but that puts me in a vast minority. Anyone who tells you that they can talk on the phone or text while driving without being distracted in lying—and may get you killed in the process.

I have seen people on their cell phones at funerals, their kids school plays, in church during the middle of the sermon, and of course, in restaurants. I know of nothing ruder than to be having dinner with someone and have them spend 20 minutes on the phone with someone else. Most people and things are simply not that important.

All of this leads me to the Roadtrek Class B Motorhome—the ultimate stress reliever. It’s easy to drive, handles well in traffic, and is one of the more fuel efficient vehicles on the road today. You have all the conveniences of home at your fingertips…bathroom, kitchen, entertainment center, even a show. It’s the perfect vehicle for cross country trips or across town jaunts—you travel in comfort in a class b camper no matter what your destination.

As for the cell phones—check them at the door. You travel in comfort, and also peace and quiet in a Roadtrek. You just might be surprised how enjoyable traveling can be when the only people who can talk to you are right there in the vehicle with you!

Comfort.

Something we all want. Something we all need. Something we are all constantly  looking for.

Comfort.

I used to love going to football games. Dad and I always went to Cleveland to see the Browns once a year. My friends and I would always make a couple of Ohio State games. Then comfort started to be important, and my attitude changed.

It can be cold in Cleveland, even in September. With the wind blowing off the lake; not comfortable. They cram 105,000 bodies into 95,000 seats at Ohio Stadium; not comfortable. But the most uncomfortable I have ever been was during my one and only trip to the Hall of Fame game in Canton.

A friend and I drove up. The tickets were free (I don’t pay for exhibition games!) The sun was out and it was hot.(This was when the game was still played on Saturdsay afternoon.) We take our seats and right before kickoff a guy comes down our row. He hadn’t bathed in a month, hadn’t shaved in a decade, and he was carrying all of this Hall of Fame stuff. Of course, he had the seat right next to me. That was bad enough, but the whole time he kept rocking back in forth in his seat singing “I love football. I love football” over and over. We left at halftime. Not very comfortable at all.

Anyway, comfort is important to me, especially as I get older. And nowhere is comfort more available than in a Roadtrek 190-Versatile. Two captain’s seats and forward facing lounge seats provide belted seating up front, while the power sofa in the back is a real triple threat. It’s a great place to watch a movie with the optional flat screen TV, provides belted seating for another three, and at night, or any other time you want, makes into a 74 inch double bed. Comfort every where you look.

The 190-Versatile is exactly that—versatile. You have all the comforts of home wherever you are, and all within an economical and easy to drive van. It’s also the perfect second family vehicle for running errands, taking the kids to their events, or just sitting in the driveway as a luxury suite for out of town guests (Maybe that guiy at the Hall of F ame game?). Comfort, style and affordability—that’s Roadtrek from one end to the other.

Life is full of overpriced stuff. I mean, everything costs too much. I pay $11 for a haircut and I’m in the chair for 8 minutes. Gas is over $3, and I recently saw milk priced at $3.62 a gallon! (I drank a lot of water that week!)

Its crazy—$50-$100 for a pair of jeans—are you kidding me? $200 for a pair of basketball shoes? Have you seen the cable or electric bills lately? Its madness everywhere you look.

I know I’m getting old—but it amazes me that people pay these kinds of prices. I mean, how can milk cost more than gas? Prices are out of control folks, and we just keep paying, and paying and paying.

Into this madness comes the Roadtrek 190-Popular. Many people think Roadtreks are high priced vehicles, because so many celebrities and athletes with large families drive them. The truth is, Used Roadtreks start in the low 40s, and are among the most economical vehicles on the road today.

Roadtreks are fun to drive, and are easy to handle in heavy traffic. Parking is a breeze because of its small size—it can easily slide into a car-sized parking space. Off the road campsites are no problem in a Roadtrek—they can go anywhere you want to go.

The Roadtrek is a lot more than a family camper, however. With up to 6 forward facing seats with seatbelts, they make great second vehicles. Perfect for running to the store, taking the kids to their events, or getting away for the weekend. Owning a Roadtrek is much cheaper than having a second car AND a motor home in storage. It’s a two in one vehicle that saves you money and provides plenty of comfort and convenience. Finally, Roadtreks offer exceptional fuel economy thanks to their aerodynamic shape and lower overall size and weight.

In a world where people pay $100 for a pair of pants, Roadtreks make a lot of sense. Great comfort, style and versatility, and they make a lot of sense to your wallet too.

Dave Arbogast in Troy, Ohio is the only place you need to go to find the perfect Roadtrek for all your needs. It’s a question I hear every day, from people in all walks of life. Young, old, tall, short, fat, skinny, good and bad people, all seem to have the same question: Why am I so tired?

The time has come to stop asking and do something about it. It’s time to feel excited about life again. It’s time to feel more alert, energized and healthy.

How?

Buy a Roadtrek!!!

Look, the pace of life these days is crazy. From the time the sun comes up until well after dark, we are on the run. Monday is the same as Tuesday, which is the same as Wednesday, and it goes on and on. We use to rest on weekends, but now Saturday and Sunday are the busiest days of the week for a lot of us.

What we need is a place to escape, a place to relax, something to look forward to; that is what a Roadtrek can do.

First, it’s fun to drive. Roadtrek has been the top selling Class B motorhome in North America for the past 20 years. It handles easily thru traffic and fits into most car-sized spaces, so there is not a lot of stress there.

Roadtreks also provide many of the comforts of home when you are on the road. You always have your own kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge area regardless of where you are. No more long lines at concerts or games to use the restroom, and you can prepare your own meals instead of expensive fast food or killing a lot of time at restaurants. Not much stress there.

Roadtreks can also be a get-a-way from home. When the phone is going crazy, or the kids are making you crazy, step into your own little comfort zone right in your own driveway. The optional flat screen TV will give you a diversion until things settle down, just make sure you don’t stay too long!

A great vehicle for the road, a great vehicle around town, and a great vehicle at home; that’s the Roadtrek way – taking care of your needs regardless of where you are.

Check out a Roadtrek today at Dave Arbogast, 3540 South County Road 25-A, Troy, Ohio. Their van experts will get you into the perfect vehicle to fit your needs.  For more information, give them a call at 1-866-975-3257!

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and I can already hear it: Don’t talk to me about spending Valentine’s Day in a Roadtrek!

I understand, but you might just be the one missing out. (Listen to what I have to say before throwing me to the lions!)

Last year, my loved one and I waited 45 minutes at a nice restaurant and ended up eating at the bar because the wait for a table was another hour. Honestly, that’s ridiculous, and a problem that is completely avoidable in a Roadtrek 190-Popular.

Where is the intimacy in eating in a restaurant overflowing with people? The noise in the restaurant I visited last year was at a level in which you couldn’t hear yourself think.  It just isn’t very romantic when you have to shout at the woman you love (most of us do too much of that anyway!)

Don’t suggest to your lady that she make the meal- that’s probably not a good move – but if you can get around that detail, then considering a 190-Popular from Roadtrek makes lots of sense. Comfort with the front captains seats, the front dining table, a little candlelight, music, and you are set for a romantic evening, without 150 total strangers literally in your lap.

You can also get out of town for the day in your Roadtrek and make the holiday one to remember. Whether it’s taking a scenic trip or going shopping, the 190-Popular is the perfect vehicle. It handles well in heavy traffic and can slip into any car sized parking spot.

I’m telling you—you’ll be the man on Valentine’s Day in a class b motorhome. See them today at Dave Arbogast in Troy, Ohio.

Don’t hesitate to give one of our van experts at 1-866-975-3257 and get ready for the most unique Valentine’s Day experience you have ever had!

The numbers are staggering. Estimates are that 50 percent of all first-time marriages end in divorce, 67 percent of second marriages end in divorce, and 74 percent of third marriages fail. Obviously, getting married a third-time is not a good idea!

Now here is my idea: Could Roadtreks save marriages? Think about it. You literally have a second residence sitting in your driveway, with a kitchen, bathroom and shower. When things get too tense with the spouse, instead of hanging around waiting to say something you’ll regret for the rest of your life (and you know eventually you will), you can head to your class b van until cooler heads prevail.

You probably won’t be there long, but even if you are, you have all the comforts of home. There is even an entertainment center with an optional flat screen TV. You can really spend hours in a Roadtrek for some quiet comfort.

I once knew a woman who, while preparing dinner, pulled a frozen pot roast from the crock pot and chucked it across the dining room at her husband! If they had had a Roadtrek, the incident could have been avoided as well as the knot on his head.

When I was married, my wife and I argued almost every night about what to watch – the really important ballgame (and aren’t they all important?) or her boring soap opera that she recorded while at work.  It’s an argument I lost almost every night.  With a Roadtrek, you can just give in, let her watch what she wants, and catch the game in comfort.

Roadtreks also help marital bliss when on the road. Instead of being stuck side by side for long trips, one can drive while the other plays video games, reads a book or listens to music. This means no more back seat driving and we all know how stressful that can be.

I realize when you all first started reading this,  you probably thought I was crazy.  Maybe now not so much though, eh?

A friend of mine was lamenting the perils of travel the other day.

“I like the idea of taking the family on vacation, but it’s such a pain. The kids get bored so easily, and their whining drives me crazy. Then there is the in and out of hotels every night, eating in strange restaurants three times a day, high gas prices, it’s just not worth it.”

“You don’t have to worry about any of that in a Roadtrek” I told him.

“A what?”

They say that ignorance is bliss, but not in this case. The Roadtrek 210-Versatile offers comfort, style and versatility to make those long road trips a breeze for the entire family.

There are so many advantages to the 210-Versatile. Two swiveling captain’s seats and two forward facing lounge seats provided belt seating for four up front. Pivot the seats and with the cloverleaf dining table, you are ready for whatever comes up; dinner, conversation, or an evening of games.

Enjoy the comfort of home in the L-shaped lounge at the back, which is versatile as well. Watch a movie with the optional flat screen TV and DVD player, or get caught up on your rest in the comfortable queen size bed. The 210-Versatile provides a comfortable sleeping space without losing the four up front seats.

There is plenty of storage available in the 210-Versatile—like the slide out can, jar and spice rack in the galley, built in storage organizer in the wardrobe, and an armrest with built in storage. You will have plenty of room for gear wherever you go.

Before my friend even asked, I told him to check out the inventory at Dave Arbogast in Troy, Ohio. All of their vans are online, and you can also contact one of their van experts at 1-866-975-3257.

The team at Arbogast will find the right van for your family’s needs, and can even deliver it right to your driveway.  Make taking a family vacation a snap with a new Roadtrek 210-Versatile from Dave Arbogast in Troy.

“And the sun is shinin’

And this road keeps windin’

Through the prettiest country

From Georgia to Tennessee

And I got the one I love beside me

My troubles behind me

I’m alive and I’m free

Who wouldn’t wanna be me?”

Country Music Superstar Keith Urban wrote it and sang it. Now I ask the question: Who wouldn’t want to be you when traveling the roads of America in a Roadtrek?

Roadtrek has been the number one selling Class B motorhome in America since 1990. That’s two decades folks, and it isn’t difficult to see why.

The features these vehicles include are almost ridiculous. A kitchen that is operational either on the fly or parked, clean bathroom facilities whenever and wherever you need them, your own private shower, and sleeping accommodations that come in handy at all times during the day, not just at night; are just a few of the things which makes a Roadtrek so special.

Roadtreks are also better equipped than many apartments. To say they offer the comforts of home is an understatement.  It’s the comforts of home while rolling across the country, or across town which makes a Roadtrek one of the most versatile vehicles on the road today.

Parking is a breeze with a Roadtrek as it slips right in to regular parking spaces. No more fast food, or waiting for a table at a busy restaurant at meal time. No more in and out of hotels every night, loading and unloading the vehicle.  It’s almost hassle free traveling and regardless of whether you’re going to the store or the kid’s athletic events; it performs as well in those situations as it does heading across country.

Who wouldn’t want to be you in a Roadtrek?

For more information on these amazing vehicles, contact the van professionals at Dave Arbogast in Troy, Ohio.  You can also check out their entire inventory on-line at www.gmcconversionvans.com or give them a call at 1-866-975-3257.

The perfect Roadtrek might just be waiting for you…

It’s a daily and nightly occurrence when you are on the road.

“What do you want to eat?

The frustrating replies…

“I don’t know.”

“I don’t care.”

Of course, those answers change the minute you pull into a restaurant parking lot. Then they care a lot and don’t like your choice at all.

Yes, traveling far away from home has many pitfalls, but there is one vehicle that can ease a lot of those problems – a Roadtrek Class B motorhome.

Think of the convenience of always having your own kitchen while traveling. Instead of eating fast food or stopping for a long stay at a pricey restaurant, you can simply go to the fridge in your Roadtrek when it’s time for a meal. Think of how much money you will save stocking up the Roadtrek at a grocery store instead of going on a spending frenzy at convenience stores and restaurants.

The Roadtrek has many other advantages as well.  How many times have you been traveling in the middle of nowhere when it was “time to go”? In a Roadtrek, you always have a clean, comfortable and private bathroom.  If you are a passenger, you don’t even have to stop.  Also, owning a Roadtrek means no more long lines at ballgames or concerts. It’s the little things that make life enjoyable and the Roadtrek is full of them.

Dave Arbogast is the largest dealer of conversion vans in the United States, which means we can find the perfect Roadtrek for you. We deliver vans all over the country which allows our customers to enjoy a high quality buying experience without traveling hundreds of miles.

So don’t hesitate! Give us a call us today at 1-866-975-3257 and let our van experts take care of all your needs.

One of my favorite movies of all time is the 1983 classic “National Lampoons Vacation”. Clark Griswold, played by Chevy Chase, plans a two week cross country trip with his family to the amusement park “Wally World”. After enduring every mishap imaginable, (including an aunt dying in the back seat), they reach their destination only to find that the park is closed for two weeks for renovation. This leads Clark to take a security guard hostage and force him to open the park for the family.

You know, many family vacations work out a lot like that. Ok, maybe a relative doesn’t die in the back seat, and maybe you don’t take a park security guard hostage, but hey, it could happen. The trip starts off as a great idea, you plan for weeks and weeks, and by the time you reach the midway point of the trip, all you want to do is go home (and commit mayhem upon your traveling companions, your “loved ones”!)

It doesn’t have to be that way. The Griswolds went cross country in a “Family Truckster”, which was nothing more than a fancy station wagon. The modern traveler can make that cross country jaunt with ease in a Roadtrek, the best selling class B motorhome in North America. The Roadtrek has features that would make the Griswolds cry…including the ability to sleep 4, a kitchen, bathroom, shower and lounge area. It’s almost like not being away from home…no more hotel rooms every night, packing things in and out of the van, and no more restaurants or fast food joints three times a day.

The Roadtrek gets better fuel efficiency than most camper vans, and is easy to handle thru traffic. It seats seven and sleeps four comfortably, and features across the rear storage, providing plenty of space for everything you can’t live without. You don’t have to strap your luggage unto the top of the Roadtrek, which caused the Griswolds all sorts of trouble.

That poor family never got to watch TV while on the road…but that isn’t a problem with a Roadtrek.  An optional flat screen TV can be added to the home theatre, providing you with an entertainment center that takes up little room and will entertain the young ones while the on the roads. The Griswolds never had it so good!
