I am beginning to think that the world has gone mad.

It’s even gotten to the point where I can deal with the unrest in the world, the craziness that is our political system, and all the little annoyances of everyday life. I have come to accept all that.

Just when you think you have heard everything…now we have the story from Alabama where a football fan of the Crimson Tide poisoned the soil around live oak trees on the Auburn campus, trees that fans traditionally toilet papered after major wins by the Auburn football program. One columnist even went so far as to call it murder  because living things were being killed.

What I need is a Roadtrek road trip. Seven to ten days away from the madness that is modern life, and the Roadtrek 170 Versatile is the perfect vehicle to escape in. Leave the cell phone at home, load up the fridge and just take off for wherever the road may take me.

If you really want to, you can travel for days without talking to another living soul. Load up the fridge before you leave, make your own meals in the kitchen, and sleep on the spacious bed in back. With the optional flat screen TV, you can play video games or watch movies, and for just a few days, not have to deal with the craziness going on in the world.
