Thanksgiving has become a stressful day in my family. With two children it has become difficult to travel from Ohio to Tennessee to see our family. I don’t think any kid is a fan of a six hour drive in a car! My husband and I have always wanted a camper. Six months ago we finally pulled the trigger.
We came to Arbogast and looked at literally everything! We checked out Class A, Class C, and Class B motorhomes and decided on a Roadtrek RS Adventurous. We loved the idea of have a motorhome getting better gas mileage than some suv’s.
To make a long story short, this year’s drive to Tennessee was fantastic! The kids watched movies and played Xbox in the back while my husband and I enjoyed an easy drive. The features of the Adventurous are numerous. Thanks to the new Electronic Stability Program (ESP), the navigator is warned when the vehicle starts to lose control, automatically utilizing both traction control and anti-locking braking systems to help you and your passengers feel more safe when traveling on winding or slippery roads.
Unlike many of Roadtrek’s other models, the Adventurous has a few unique surprises. Rather than having the ability to convert into beds, the model’s second row seating includes luxurious lounge seats and the option of bigger and better captain’s seats. Swivel the second row seats towards the rear and enjoy an awesome view of the television. Add the option of folding mattresses up front on top of all four front seats for extra sleeping space. The mattresses can also easily be stored.
This luxurious camper van is highlighted by panoramic windows from front to rear, tons of storage, and the ability to add a hanging pantry at the back of the kitchen area. The model’s bathroom doors help maximize space while still leaving plenty of room inside for a vanity sink, a sit-down or stand-up shower, and toilet And like many other Roadtrek models, an optional electric powered sofa in the rear creates even more sleeping space whether it be a king size or twin beds. One of the company’s newest and most innovative models, the Roadtrek SS-Ideal has one very large surprise. It’s the industry’s only model featuring a rear slide-out door.
This Class B Camper Van, released in 2009, is based off the 144″ wheelbase of the Mercedes-built Short Sprinter van and like the Agile, is only 19 1/2 feet long. And like the Agile, don’t let its compact size fool you. The Ideal is convenient enough to be utilized as a standard conversion van but still offers all the features of a fully-equipped motorhome. Based on the 144″ wheelbase of the Mercedes-built Sprinter 2500 van. This Class B Camper Van may only be 19 1/2 feet long but don’t let its size fool you. The Agile comes fully equipped and has the ability to seat five and sleep two easily. And with no gables or cabinets at either end of its galley, the Agile features plenty of open space, from the captain seats up front all the way to a power sofa located in the rear.
